What’s In My Makeup Bag Winter 2017

I’ve never really done a post like this, and I’m not really sure why. Lately I have been basically living out of my makeup bag, most days I get ready for work at the gym and so need to have all of my daily makeup essentials to hand so that I look some-what presentable for the day. So I thought I would show you what has been living in my makeup bag for the past few weeks, so that you maybe feel a little inspired to give your makeup bag a shuffle.

L’Oreal Infallible Foundation – Porcelain

This is my favourite drugstore foundation for a luminous and glowy base, perfect for the winter months when my skin starts to look a little sallow. This lasts all day.

Collection – Illuminating Touch Liquid Radiance Highlighter

Perfect for adding extra luminosity into your makeup, and also for a fraction of the price of anything else like this on the market.

Collection – Lasting Perfection Concealer – Fair

Nars – Creamy Concealer – Vanilla

Rimmel Match Perfection Loose Powder

My favourite powder, and the only one I have found that doesn’t make your face look super dry and/or give you horrendous flashback. Only £5.99 too, bargain!

L’Oreal Brow Artist Genius Kit – Medium/Dark

I have used this pretty much every day for the past year, and this never fails me. It has a wax and a shadow that can be used to sculpt a perfect brow.

L’Oreal Brow Artist Plumper – Medium/Dark

Sculpt & Glow:

Nyx – High Definition Blush

This, in the shade Taupe, bas been on my face every single day as my contour. It’s a really cool toned brown that works perfectly to sculpt pale skin.

The Balm – Mary Lou-maniser Highlight

This is a staple highlighter in my collection; I have used this for a long time and I never get bored of it. It gives a beautiful sheen and a blinding highlight to the skin.

Urban Decay – Naked Heat Palette

I’m a floozy when it comes to eyeshadow palettes, and I never use the same one for more than a couple of days before swapping it out. But, at the moment, the new Urban Decay Naked palette has been my favourite to use for a warm-toned shadow look.

Elf – Molten Liquid Eyeshadow – Rose Gold

This product took me a little while to warm to, but now I love it. It does crease a little so I always set it down with another eyeshadow or a loose powder, but this is perfect for an easy makeup look.

Maybelline – The Lift Volume Express

Elizabeth Arden – 8 Hour Cream

My favourite lip cream, ever. That is all I have to say, you need it.

Let me know what you have in your makeup bag for this time of year, so I can give a few new things a try in the new year.

Lots of love,

Beth x x
