You should be used to these posts by now, I’m not even going to apologise for my blog being made up more or less entirely of Monthly Favourite Posts. Instead, I am going to jump straight in with what I have been loving in June (can you believe that it’s already July?!). There’s a few more lifestyle bits and pieces in this months post, so I hope you enjoy!
This is a little bit of a cheat, I only purchased this the other week but I am in love with it already! The scent of this is extremely fresh and it is a very thick and creamy cleanser, whilst still being gentle on the eyes which is the most important part for me. I find it removes makeup incredibly easily and leaves me feeling pampered afterwards.
My best friend bought me this for my birthday, and I have been absolutely loving it. I find that it doesn’t completely dry down, which I enjoy because it means that it doesn’t make my mouth feel like the sahara desert. The only quarm with this product is that it isn’t completely transfer proof, but that is something I can definitely live with. The colour is a lovely, metallic vampy colour that I know will be getting a lot of use in the colder, Autumnal months.
These were a discovery I made when browsing round Boots. Makeup Obsession is a very affordable brand, made up of single pans of makeup that can be put into larger palettes, making it super easy to customise your own palettes. These highlighters retail at £3.00 each, and are so pigmented and creamy. I am so impressed. They have shades to suit every skin tone – the ones I chose that are targeted for paler skin tones are Pearl, Moon and Pop. Definitely check these out.
This month we have a candle favourite! I burn candles all the time, no matter what time of the year. However, I’m not very picky when it comes to what scents I burn, hence me having little to none candle favourites. This one has quickly become my favourite – it has just enough scent payoff, and, despite being super gimmicky, anything cute and cocktail related just has to be mine.
My TV favourite of the month definitely has to be Love Island. I thought I would hate this TV programme. It is, essentially, Trash TV at its finest. I am, however, addicted. It is an actual problem. Every night at 9pm I am settled in bed with the TV on ready to get my latest fix. Full of romance, gossip and arguments – completely my cup of tea.
This month I have cracked out my Nintendo 3DS and have been enjoying playing my favourite game of all time. I have played Animal Crossing ever since I was a little girl, on the original Nintendo. I adore this game, and how it is so progressive. I live in a little town called Paradise and have been fully enjoying playing this when I have a moment spare.
Another month and another favourites post completed. I’m sure I will see you for a July Favourites very, very shortly. Let me know what you have been loving this June, and I hope July brings you lots of happiness.
Lots of love,
