March Favourites

Another month has gone – 2017 seems to just be flying by.  Because my favourite things to read and watch are monthly favourites, I always look forward to accumulating my faves for the month and writing all about them.  So, here ya go.

MAC – Dodgy Girl

The first lip product of the month that I have been loving is by MAC, and it is the shade Dodgy Girl.  This has now been discontinued but I managed to grab hold of it on Depop.  A vibr;ant purple, I was instantly drawn to this as soon as I saw it.  Super long lasting, and very matte but not drying and somehow it manages not to cling to the dry parts of my lips which most other lip products do.  Definitely what I’m going to be wearing on my lips throughout spring.

L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick – Moka Chic

A slightly cheaper alternative to my other favourite, this drugstore lipstick is beautiful. It’s a very nude, matte shade that pairs perfectly with a gloss over the top.  I find that this is long lasting, and also incredibly easy to reapply without looking cakey. I adore this and have worn this on multiple nights out this month – I will definitely be purchasing a few more from this range.

Benefit GALifornia blush

I never usually splurge on blushers, hence why the majority of my blush collection is from the drugstore. However, when I first saw the new Benefit box  blush, I knew that I needed it.  Firstly, it is the most beautiful summer colour and has a tiny bit of sparkle in it that really gives your cheeks the most beautiful sheen.  Secondly, the smell.  This smells like a tropical paradise; honestly, it makes me want to go on holiday right this second.  So incredibly beautiful, and worth the hefty price tag.

Makeup Revolution Blush Goddess Palette

From one end of the price spectrum to the other, this palette is the biggest bargain ever.  With four blushes and four highlighters, you cannot go wrong.  This month, however, I have mainly been reaching for the blushes which provide the most subtle hint of colour ever.  Perfect colour selection for the spring time.

Topshop Highlighter – Crescent Moon

Would it be a monthly favourites without a highlighter? No, it would not. Topshop isn’t somewhere that I usually visit for makeup, it just isn’t somewhere that I give much thought to. However, when I popped in the other day I noticed this highlighter and I couldn’t leave it behind. It has this beautiful effect where it gives you a lit from within glow but is blinding at the same time. Go and swatch it, you will not regret it.

Soap and Glory The Fab Pore Purifying Foam Cleanser

Usually I’m a little lazy with using a face wash in the morning, but I thought I would give this one a go.  I have used this all month long and every single time I use it, it makes my face feel squeaky clean. I adore it.  If you enjoy super cleansing products, I highly suggest you try this one.

So, that’s another month done – lets see what new favourite products April brings.  Thanks for reading!

Lots of love,

Beth x
