I love eyeshadow. Eyeshadow palettes, however, give me serious heart eyes. I adore them – I am such a sucker for any brand that brings out a new palette. After scavenging through my tonne of palettes, I thought I would make you go all heart eyed over my top 5 favourites. Sharing is caring after all.
This is one of my favourite palettes of all time – and very well loved. All the shadows are incredibly creamy and easy to blend. It’s my go to palette when I want to throw a neutral eye together. I usually blend a mixture of Semi Sweet and Creme Brulee – BAM ready to go.
This palette holds a special place in my heart. It was my first ever high end eyeshadow palette – inspired by one of my best friends. I remember going round to her house, and she had this palette and I knew that I needed it. Nooner is probably my favourite shade, just a warm matte shade, used in the crease and then Dust on the lid. Definitely a must have for anybody starting out in makeup.
I thought that I would include a drugstore alternative in my top 5 – incase people don’t want to splurge on eyeshadow in the crazy manor that I do. This palette has been in my collection for a long time now, and is one that I continue to reach for. The foiled colours are so buttery and pigmented, and the mattes also blend really well. If you’re looking for a much cheaper alternative, then this is the one for you.
Smashbox – On The Rocks
I LOVE this palette. I haven’t been able to link this product because I think it has been discontinued (I am so sad about this). Each shade is so unbelievably pigmented and creamy – my only con with this palette is that it is difficult to make a look using this one palette because there aren’t many matte shades to work with, mainly shimmers. My favourite palette to use if I’m doing a smoky eye.
I waited for so long to get this palette, and I was definitely not disappointed. It is absolutely incredible – especially for the money. It has every colour that you could possibly want – making it my go to palette whenever I want a pop of colour. It’s usually always sold out on Cult Beauty and Beauty Bay but you can add yourself to the waitlist.
So there you have it, my favourite eyeshadow palettes. Some a little more pricey than others, but all equally loved in my collection. Let me know which eyeshadow palettes I should invest in next.
Lots of love,
