Another month has gone. Wow. As having a nosy at what products people have been loving is one of my favourite things to do, I thought I would write a blog post on what I have been loving in the month of February.
Now I usually never have favourite hair products – hair styling just isn’t a great passion of mine. It always feels like a bit of a chore. I’m always on the hunt for a good leave in conditioner, as my hair is naturally quite dry. This one is amazing – it really does leave my hair leaving moisturised and it smells beautiful. Quite tricky to get hold of – I got mine in a Christmas set but if you can locate this product, definitely worth a try.
This eyeliner is amazing. It is the only eyeliner that I have used for the entire month. To put it simply, it is jet black, creamy and super pigmented. At a cost of £5.00 this is definitely a must have if you are looking for a new kohl pencil.
I only purchased this foundation around two weeks ago, however it has rapidly entered my top 5 foundations. This rivals my highest coverage high end foundation, and it absolutely incredible for the price point. To be warned, this foundation is rather thick but this is what provides amazing, flawless coverage and somehow never seems to look cakey on this skin. If you’re looking for a new full coverage foundation, give this gem a try.
This concealer is a bit of an odd ball. It has been sitting in my makeup collection for quite some time now without being used, due to the weird applicator that comes with it. It comes with a strange brush applicator that is used to apply product when the tube is squeezed. Despite the concealer being a beautiful formula, the applicator made it apply streaky without enough coverage, so for this reason it was left gathering dust in my concealer drawer. At the beginning of the month, I watched a tutorial where the brush was pulled off of the tube, and so I gave it a go. Amazing. It is one of the only concealers I have used all month since discovering this tactic. Great coverage, and comes in a whole range of colours.
This was a stand out product in February. My particular favourite shade from this palette is the shade Icing Sugar which is the one I have got the most use out of for the majority of the month. This palette comes with two powder blushes and one cream blush. Now I have never touched the cream blush, just simply because I don’t enjoy using cream products as powder products work a lot better on my skin. However, the two powder blushes are beautifully pigmented and blend nicely into the skin, on top of whatever base products I am wearing.
I am huge fragrance lover. This was one that I was given as a gift a few years back, and I remember loving it but for some reason I never repurchased it. I came across this a few weeks back, and decided to pick it up again and I adore it. Now I’m not going to humiliate myself by trying to describe the scent, but seriously go and give this perfume a sniff if you can. Definitely a bargain.
This should come as no surprise. This is the only powder that I will use to set my foundation and concealer. I use this powder to bake with and I also use it to do an easy smokey eye. Such a multi-purpose product, translucent and with absolutely no flash back.
Hand cream isn’t something that you would usually feature in a favourites post. It’s usually something you just whip out to moisturise your hands, more of a necessity than anything. However this hand cream is incredible, and smells amazing. I took this to work, and my colleagues and I finished a full tube in a week. Now I’m on my third tube of the stuff, and that is saying something.
So there you have it, my favourite products for the month of February. What were yours?
Lots of love,
